Introduction to the PGOM

The Pirineus Geological Open Museum (PGOM) is an outdoor geology exhibition that shows the history of the Earth and the Pyrenees.
PGOM Scopes:
- The Rock Garden (Parc del Joncar): blocks of different materials from the Pyrenees.
- The Avenue of the Geological Time (Passeig de Pompeu Fabra): pavement made of different materials, both natural and artificial, showing the evolution of the Earth and life.
- The Lighthouse (intersection between the two exhibition areas): a singular tower made of corten steel and rocks that indicates the starting point of the visit.
