Geophysical characterisation
H/V Spectral ratio from seismic noise
H/V spectral quotient of the seismic noise record at the Llívia - Poliesportiu seismic station. A peak is observed around 1.0 Hz that can be related to the fundamental frequency of the soil and, therefore, an acoustic impedance contrast is expected in the subsoil.

S-waves velocity model
In the shear wave propagation velocity model (Vs) obtained by inverting the dispersion curves (array and MASW techniques), a surface layer with a velocity of about 290 m/s and a thickness of about 9 meters is observed. Below, the velocity increases progressively as the depth increases. Up to 23 meters there are 500 m/s and then the velocity increases to 670 m/s. The depth of investigation is not sufficient to detect a layer that can be related to the bedrock.
