Opening ceremony of the exhibition "Leonor Ferrer: a life between the lines" in the Sala 4 Cotxeres of the Palau Robert.
Leonor Ferrer (Barcelona, 1874-1960) was the first woman to obtain the title of draughtsman in the Spanish State, in 1905. A feminist and activist in women's education, for more than thirty-three years she worked as head of draughtsman in various telephone companies in Barcelona. The personal archive that she has left us reflects her commitment to education, emancipation and the presence of women in all areas of society.
In the year of commemoration of the 150th anniversary of her birth, we follow her professional and life career, reading between the lines of her correspondence and bringing to the present the small silent revolutions that she carried out in her time.
The exhibition can be visited at the Palau Robert until February 2nd, 2025.
