The ICGC successfully hosts the second day of the Second Graphic Heritage Conference
The Second Graphic Heritage Conference is jointly organized by the Library of Catalonia (BC), the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC) and the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC).

Welcome and greetings from the Director of the ICGC, Antonio Magariños, and the Director of the BC, Eugènia Serra.
After a first day held on June 19th, at the Biblioteca de Catalunya, on June 20th, at the ICGC we resumed the activities of the Conference. This second edition has addressed some of the current challenges that heritage institutions are facing today. Due to their fragile nature, collections of graphic works are subject to a difficult balance between sustainability and the need to make them accessible to both specialists and the general public. In addition, the importance of preserving and disseminating graphic collections has been explored in depth, especially in the context of cartography, historical cartography and geographic visualization..

Jornada celebrada a la seu de l’ICGC el passat 20 de juny.
