The ICGC presents HidroGeoR-Shiny, a new application to better understand groundwater
The ICGC has launched HidroGeoR-Shiny, an interactive web application that allows the analysis and visualization of hydrochemical data in a simple and intuitive way. The tool is aimed at the academic sector, consulting professionals and public administration.
In a context of recurring drought, the effects of climate change and increasing pressure on aquifers, HidroGeoR-Shiny becomes a tool that facilitates the analysis and characterization of groundwater, in order to allow its classification, territorial interpretation and the generation of dynamic reports.

Several images of the exploitation and use of the application. At the top left, main view; to the right, univariate and bivariate analysis of hydrogeochemical data; and at the bottom, different views of data representation.
The project has been developed entirely by the ICGC within the framework of the European project GSEU (Geological Survey of Europe), co-financed by the Horizon Europe program and with the participation of European hydrogeologists.
