The ICGC presents Catalonia at the Osaka World Expo 2025
The ICGC is participating in the Osaka 2025 Universal Exposition to make the world aware of Catalonia's talent, innovation and technological capacity in the field of geoinformation and Earth observation.
Within the framework of this international exhibition, we have presented two proposals that combine science, art and dissemination, with the aim of explaining and understanding the territory through satellite imagery.

Dr. Jordi Corbera presents the project "Catalonia, a new look at the Earth from space" at the Osaka World Expo
“Catalonia, a new view of the Earth from space” is a visual resource based on satellite images that invites you to contemplate Catalonia from a new perspective.
The project establishes a dialogue between scientific knowledge and artistic expression to generate reflection on the landscape, the territory and human activity. The proposal has been presented by Dr. Jordi Corbera, a specialist in Earth observation.

"Walking through the Territory" is an interactive educational game tool to discover the geography and landscapes of Catalonia through real images captured from space.
With this educational resource, designed for everyone, we present the territory in a fun and participatory way.
With this participation, the ICGC contributes to positioning Catalonia as an international benchmark in advanced applications of geoinformation and territorial visualization.
These proposals are part of the NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia, promoted by the Government through the Secretariat of Digital Policies and with the collaboration of the IEEC, the ICGC and the i2CAT Foundation.
