At the ICGC, we offer the Digital Map Library, which features a collection of nearly 100,000 documents from the cartographic and documentary heritage covering Catalonia and the world. It includes materials from various periods and formats, such as loose maps, atlases, globes, books, photographs, and other resources ranging from the 15th century to the present day. All are available online and can be downloaded for study or research purposes.

Created in 1985, the Map Library has become a benchmark in the preservation and dissemination of territorial knowledge. The digital catalogue has been publicly accessible for nearly two decades and is continuously enriched with new additions.

The images published in the Digital Map Library can be freely viewed in high resolution. Each file includes information about usage rights, making it easier to use them in educational, scientific, and cultural projects.
