At the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia (ICGC), we have added six historical posters from Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) to the Digital Map Library of Catalonia. The posters were created in 1930 as part of an advertising competition for the Núria rack railway and are now available for online consultation and download.

We have digitised the posters in high quality to preserve the originals and facilitate public access. These hand-drawn illustrations, of significant graphic value, help document the evolution of railway transport and visual and tourism communication in Catalonia.

The incorporation has been carried out through the Map library hosts service, through which we provide technical support to institutions wishing to disseminate their graphic and cartographic heritage without having their own digitisation resources.

With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to the preservation, dissemination and open access to Catalonia’s cartographic and visual heritage.
