On March 15-17th, 2011 was held the 5th International Exhibition of Geoinformation (Globalgeo) with a 26% more of attendance than last year (2009). As a professional and international sphere, Globalgeo shows new applications, solutions and technologies related to geoinformation.

As in the previous edition, the ICC was actively involved with their stand and the organization of different events:

• Meeting of the Working Group of Infraestructuras de Datos Espaciales Españoles del Consejo Superior Geográfico.

• Session " Ventajas de una adquisición de datos LIDAR nacional", organized by the ICC in collaboration with IGN and DIELMO 3D SL

• The 'IV Jornadas de la Organización para la Cooperación en Cartografía entre Comunidades Autónomas (JOCCCAs)"

• Working meeting of the Comisión Especializada de Normas Geográficas del Consejo Superior Geográfico.

• Tutorials TGEO 2011 "From Space to the user", organized by the Centro de Soporte del Programa Català d'Observació de la Terra.

• 10th edition of Forum TIG-SIG 2011 " Ciutats (ciutat 2.0, del futur, digital, intel·ligent, innovadora, sostenible, creativa...)", organized by the ICC and the Associació Catalana de Tecnologies de la Informació Geogràfica.

ICC also participated in the 9th edition of the Semana Geomática Internacional 'El futur dels mapes ' els mapes del futur' with the introduction of 8 speeches dealing with aspects about geodesy, orthophoto, remote sensing and other sensors. Furthermore, it introduced in the Speak Corner, the change of the Reference System from ED50 to ETRS89.
