The Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC) hosts artist Mercedes Mangrané, who offers a cinematic, poetic and existential perspective on the prevention of natural risks and their complexity. Research within the artistic process and the study of geological dynamics converge around gravity and erosive and accumulative phenomena, prompting a reflection on finitude and transformation, the illusion of stability, and the human footprint on nature.
