H/V Spectral ratio from seismic noise
H/V spectral quotient of the seismic noise record at the Girona – Generalitat seismic station. A peak is observed around 1.8 Hz that can be related to the fundamental frequency of the soil and, therefore, an acoustic impedance contrast is expected in the subsoil.

S-waves velocity model
In the shear wave propagation velocity model (Vs) obtained by inverting the dispersion curves (array technique), a surface layer of about 50 meters thick and a velocity of about 570 m/s is observed. Below, a strong increase in velocity is detected, exceeding 2800 m/s. This last layer can be interpreted as the bedrock.
