EIDA Node

Access to distributed seismic data via the ICGC EIDA node.

EIDA (European Integrated Data Archive) is an initiative within ORFEUS (Observatories and Research Facilities for European Seismology), which is a distributed federation of datacenters established to securely archive seismic waveform data and metadata compiled by European research infrastructures and provide transparent access to data for geoscience research communities. The ICGC has been one of the EIDA nodes since 2020.

The seismic networks that contribute to the ICGC EIDA node are as follows:

Waveforms

The digital seismic signal stored in the ICGC EIDA node is available through the fdsnws-dataselect webservice.

Select a time interval and station to download waveforms in miniseed format. It is possible to select networks, stations, locations and channels from the drop down lists.

Metadata

Stations metadata is available in the formats dataless SEED and StationXML through the fdsnws-station webservice.

Select a time interval and station to download metadata. It is possible to select networks, stations, locations and channels from the drop down lists.
