EIDA Node
Access to distributed seismic data at the ICGC EIDA node
EIDA (European Integrated Data Archive) is an initiative within ORFEUS (Observatories and Research Facilities for European Seismology), which is a distributed federation of datacenters established to securely archive seismic waveform data and metadata compiled by European research infrastructures and provide transparent access to data for geoscience research communities.

Webservices
Access and download of seismic waveforms and their related metadata, including the station inventory and waveform quality parameters available in the ICGC EIDA node.
FDSNWS-Dataselect

The FDSNWS-Dataselect service provides access to raw waveform data for requested channels and time windows. Data can be selected using SEED stream identifiers (network, station, location, and channel) in addition to a starttime and endtime. Waveform data are returned in mSEED format.

FDSNWS-Station

The FSDNWS-Station provides access to station metadata and instrument specifics in FDSN StationXML format. Metadata can be selected on SEED network, station, location or channel identifiers in addition to spatiotemporal constraints. Metadata can be extracted at multiple levels of detail.

EIDAWS-WFCatalog

The WFCatalog Webservice provides detailed information on the contents of waveform data including quality control parameters. Information can be included on sample metrics, record header flags, and timing quality. The WFCatalog can serve as an index for data discovery as it has support for range filtering on all available metrics.

EIDAWS-PSD

The EIDAWS-PSD service queries a database of power spectral densities (probability density functions - PSDs) calculated in one-hour segments. Individual and daily PSDs are aggregated to show the probability distribution of seismic noise levels. PSDs are calculated using the method described by McNamara in 2004, using ObsPy for a specific network/station/location/channel combination.
