Analog seismograms
Analog seismograms of the Catalan Seismic Network
Except for EBR and FBR stations, property of Observatori de l'Ebre and Observatori Fabra, respectively, the Catalan Seismic Network started in 1985.
Until 2008 the seismic stations were equipped with vertical short period sensors with analog recording. Ground motion was telemetered or cabled from field sensor to continuous recording drums.

Specific information about the network deployment can be found on the published Seismic Bulletins. Since 1999 new broadband equipment with satellite transmission were deployed; but some stations continued with analog recording for some years.
Seismograms were recorded on thermic paper and records were replaced daily between 7:00 and 10:00 in the morning. Exceptionally some seismograms contain 48 hours of seismic recording.
Due to the fragility of the thermic paper and with the objective to preserve them for the future, all seismograms have been scanned at 1200dpi density in grey scale.

The whole series of records for the 10 stations showed on the map are available as raster images.
