This fieldtrip offers an overview on the soil forming factors and processes taking place on the largest southern Pyrenean basin, in the Tremp area, a world class natural laboratory for geology, pedology and land use in mountainous areas. Soils developed on conglomerate debris (Comiols). Soils developed on tufa / travertine. Soils developed on sandstone debris. Soils with petrocalcic horizons, developed on residual alluvial fans. Itinerary

• Wednesday 17th of June, afternoon: Departure from Barcelona. Accommodation near Tremp.
