Lifeforms: there is no fossil record showing the presence of organisms. It is believed that the heat flow and temperature were extremely high to allow life.

Paleoenvironment: the Earth was a mass of molten rocks, continuously bombarded by extraterrestrial bodies. With the passage of time, it became cooler and the first seas and rocks were formed.
