Geological cross sections

To construct the geological cross section it is necessary to make, in first place, the topographic cross section. About this the contacts are placed among the different lithologic units. In second place, the dips are placed with a trasnporter angles and the inclination is represented. With this data a superficial cross section is constructed. Later the projecting subsoil in depth interprets the data of surface. The interpretation in depth improves considerably if it is ordered of information of the subsoil, for example the soundings of oil prospection, seismic profiles, gravimetric data, etc.
