Historical collections of the cartographic services of Catalonia

Documentation related to the institutional cartographic services of Catalonia that have been happening from the creation of the Servei Geogràfic de la Mancomunitat de Catalunya (1914) to the Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya created in 1982. It includes documents by the Comisión liquidadora de la Mancomunidad (1924-1930); the Servei Cartogràfic de la Generalitat de Catalunya (1930-1939); the Servicio Cartográfico de la Diputació de Barcelona and within this, the Gabinet de Fotogrametria (1939-1983).

This archive collection comes from the Servei Cartogràfic de la Diputació de Barcelona, transferred to the Institut Cartogràfic de Catalunya in 1983 and heir of the Servei Geogràfic de la Mancomunitat.
