Lluís Massanas’ Archive of Toponymy of Girona’s Province

Documentation relating to the toponymy’s collection of carried out by the company POLUX in Girona at the end of the 1970s to complement the edition of the coverage in orthophotomaps in Girona’s province. There are paper aerial photographs with handwritten notes and lists of place names.

Admission data: It is part of the Lluís Massanas’ archive the last owner of the Polux company, whose widow Aurora Serrà, donated to the ICGC in 2020. The collection also includes a series of aerial photographs of the Girona’s province as well as a collection of ancient surveying instruments.
