Main events: the human race.
Lifeforms: saber-toothed tigers, mammoths, mastodons and many other large mammals, as well as other living beings lived during a great part of the period but became extinct nearly 10.000 years ago. It is the time during which the human species has existed.
Paleoenvironment: current distribution of continents and oceans. Period of climatic instability, with alternation of cold glacial periods and interglacial periods, with the presence of glaciers and polar caps, as well as local volcanic activity.
Cobblestones: travertine.
