One of the challenges for the future of the companies that generate data, products and services from geoinformation technologies, such as the ICC, is clearly the transfer of technology and knowledge with other actors in our society. The mentionet "Smart Cities" represent, nowadays, one of the main points of attraction and transfer in this sense.
Among all the activities developed by the ICC, the IC_Cartotechnology is a training tool, certified by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and supported by the Secretary General of Universities, to realize this transfer of knowledge, generating international networking for future initiatives, programmes and projects.
