Introducing new service of ICC ortoXpres (www.ortoxpres.cat) which allows you to consult fast orthophotos of Catalonia before its final publication.

With ortoXpres, once photogrammetric flight information is captured, in less than two months is processed and charged in the ICC servers, which will generate orthophotos in real time while navigating by the display.

ortoXpres exploits all flight information, offering 22.5 cm and 7.5 cm resolutions in metropolitan and urban areas, and adding the infrared band, showed in false color.

ortoXpres viewer allows us temporarily comparison of an area using different versions of orthophotos. Also allows to see 3D orthophotos by using "anaglyphs" to increase the territory understanding.

Keep in mind that precision (geometric and radiometric) offered by fast orthophoto can't be equated to accuracy of classic orthophoto. Fast orthophoto doesn't take into account infrastructures and buildings at the generation moment, nor prevents the appearance of elements edited in classic orthophoto (reflections, shadows, clouds, smoke, etc.)
