ICGC has conducted a new computation and adjustment of the CatNet network official coordinates. Coordinate changes are justified by the plate tectonics and for the instrumental changes, and guarantee the reference frame precision and its stability over the time.

As a result of the new computation, 'CatNet20151' has been published and, from now on, these will be the official coordinates of the network (they can be downloaded at ftp://geofons.icc.cat/coordenades/CATNET/ETRS89/).

'CatNet20151' coordinates are the result of the CatNet network weekly cumulative computations, which have used the daily GNSS observations for the whole network since 2007 until now.

ICGC have tested, also with field measurements, that coherence between the previous adjustment, the current one and the Utilitarian Network are within the precision thresholds of each frame and, consequently, it is transparent for the users.

For the specific case of BEUD station, height reference point has been modified, in the way that all stations will have the same one. In order to be as transparent as possible for the users, the mount height and ellipsoidal height have been updated in the RINEX files opportunely. Today, 29th of February 2016, BEUD RINEX files will be updated in Geofons and in the RINEX shop.
