On the occasion of the Diada (National Day of Catalonia), at the Institut Cartogràfic i Geològic de Catalunya (ICGC) we organize an open day at ours headquarters in Barcelona, ​​which will be carried out through guided tours lasting about 50 minutes each.

The ICGC is the official Catalan mapping and geological agency, belonging to the Catalan Government.

We are a public institution that provides rigorous and quality information on the territory to face the challenges of our society, such as climate change, the management of risk and natural resources, sustainable development or the energy transition.

Our scientific knowledge and expertise facilitate decision-making for the management of the territory, thus contributing to offer a better service to the citizens, and places us among the institutes of reference in the field of geoinformation.

Since 1982, we guarantee the officiality and independence of the (geo) information we provide as well as our services, which range from data capture to the implementation of solutions.
